Ellen Nickles

Ellen Nickles is a New York City-based artist, researcher, and educator working with emerging new media technologies. She designs participatory experiences and games that invite guests to converse with specific intentions—including competitive, exploratory, fictional, and hidden agendas. Her work often investigates how the context of communication impacts language choices, collaboration, and connection. As a research resident, she studies machine learning data sets and AI literacy.
