Rooftop Cop was shown in May 2014 at MAGNET in downtown Brooklyn as five separate games installed in a "Police Cave" -- a room-sized structure built from wood and painted cardboard. The cave led visitors through the games in sequence, beginning with a political struggle at the entrance, passing through a drowned cathedral, and up into a shiny silver sky where players checked a fax machine and moved sticks in the sand. These themes were also explored in an exhibition of works curated by Stephen for Babycastles, shown at REVERSE Gallery in Brooklyn from July to August, 2014. Working with the designers to create physical displays, the show included four videogames which manipulated existing systems or conventions in deliberate ways, including an A.I. which made its own games.
