Logline: When 73-year-old Darlene loses a player on her competitive senior bowling team right before a big tournament, she must swallow her pride and ask her estranged best friend, Esther, to join the team.
Bio: Elyse Morales is a writer and producer. She was raised in the great city of Philadelphia where she grew up around the resilient, beautiful, artistic people that make up Philly. At 14 she was accepted into the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts where she majored in Creative Writing. Her sophomore year she won second place in the Philadelphia Young Playwrights 2013 Annual Playwriting Festival for her play Ghosts. She was the valedictorian of her high school class and made a Lord of the Rings joke in her speech that no one understood. Elyse went on to earn her BFA in Dramatic Writing with a concentration in Screenwriting from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. While at NYU she wrote and produced multiple award-winning short films, including Star Wars Episode Gr8: The Empire Smiles Back which placed in the Top 25 of the Official Star Wars Fan Film Competition. While in college she also created and produced the Whale Bus podcast, Story Blocks, and is currently writing for Childish: A Podcast Musical. Upon graduating in December 2018, Elyse moved to Los Angeles where she has worked on Season 1 of CBS’s The Neighborhood and is currently working on Season 2 of Sorry For Your Loss on Facebook Watch.
