Logline:  In an alternate-timeline 1918 wherein alchemy has been developed to become a viable but dangerous science, two ambitious college students seek to create an infinite fuel source at the behest of their domineering advisor. However, when one of the students discovers that the same formula is capable of re-animating the dead, the two former friends become bitter enemies, with one trying to contain what they have created, and the other attempting to unleash it.

Bio: Thom Hood is a writer, director and actor from Washington, D.C. After graduating from the College of William and Mary, he wrote, he directed and starred in the short films Doppelganger and Abandoned, before attending New York University, where he wrote and directed 4 more short films, in addition to writing 6 feature scripts and two original pilots before graduating with an MFA in 2018. He currently teaches acting at an English-language drama academy in Beijing.
