Matthew McInerney-Lacombe completed his MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2015. Hoping to escape the bitter Canadian winters of his native Toronto he studied in famously sunny Dublin at Trinity College, attaining a BA in Film and Theatre Studies. Matthew always wanted to write for the screen, but working as an agency assistant convinced him to double down on his creative goals. He writes screenplays (first love), plays, and teleplays and has received commendations for all three including the 2014 Sloan Foundation Screenwriting Grant for his political medical drama Spring Offensive.
