Previous Classes

Holding Wholeness| Mondays from 6:00 PM to 7:00PM (Updated Time)
Rev. Qalvy Grainzvolt (Buddhist Spiritual Life Advisor; Meditation Teacher)

238 Thompson Street (GCASL), Room 475

In some ways, as human beings, we all become fragmented in some way, shape, and/or form because of the many challenges and life experiences we go through. Meditative practice offers a path to reconnect these fragmented parts, and help us rediscover our intrinsic wholeness.

Join us for a 10-week, non-credit bearing course with MindfulNYU, led by a licensed mental health clinician (LMHC) this Fall. Combining best practices from a mental health context with a secular mindfulness/meditation approach, we will discover opportunities to regain the wholeness one already possesses.

Inner Balance| Thursdays from 5:30PM to 6:30PM
Rev. Doyeon Park (Buddhist Spiritual Life Advisor; Meditation Teacher)

238 Thompson Street (GCASL), Room 475

Discover a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling academic life with "Inner Balance: Mindfulness Meditation." This one-hour session offers a sanctuary of calmness where you can explore mindfulness techniques to cultivate a centered and peaceful mind. Dive into a journey of self-awareness, learn to manage stress, and enhance focus through guided meditation sessions.

Transitions| Fridays from 2:00 to 3:00 PM
Amanda Gloria Valdes (Yoga and Meditation Teacher)

238 Thompson Street (GCASL), Suite 491

Join Amanda Gloria Valdes for a mediation community series. The class will be a community centered class. For the Fall semester we will explore how  "Transitions"  show up in our lives, minds, breath, and  practice. This class will be a weekly cumulative experience. Each week we will begin with a discussion centered check in and community mediation. We will explore the foundations of meditation, mindfulness, and tangible skills to apply to your day to day life through the lens of "Transitions".
