Dean Cameron heads the Office of Student Affairs, which provides a range of services to undergraduate and graduate students at the Tisch School of the Arts, including financial aid counseling, psychological counseling, career development, student activities, academic services, undergraduate recruitment, and graduate admissions. The Office of Student Affairs also plans all-school events such as orientation, admissions open houses, Parents Day, admitted students day, and the Salute to the Graduates, Tisch’s annual graduation ceremony. Dean Cameron is responsible for upholding the social and academic standards of the school and, with his staff, responds to student emergencies, in consultation with NYU’s Office of Public Safety and the Student Health Center.
Prior to joining the Tisch School of the Arts community in 2001, Dean Cameron served for 12 years as associate dean of student affairs, associate dean of studies, and dean of studies and student life at Sarah Lawrence College.
