Sharon Peterson-Liebmann

Sharon Peterson serves as the Associate Director of Development.  Sharon joined Tisch in 2002 while working to finish her BA degree in Humanities at NYU’s School of Professional Studies.

Sharon oversees the programming and philanthropic giving for the Tisch Parents’ Council. In her role as Parents' Council Liaison, Sharon has transformed the group into an engaged, spirited and robust community of more than 60 active leaders, and has developed close and lasting relationships with many parents over the years.

As Associate Producer of 11 galas, her efforts have helped raise more than $10 million for Tisch scholarships and student needs. In addition to planning Parents' and Dean’s Council meetings, special events and galas, she manages a diverse portfolio of donors, which include parents, alumni, Dean’s Council members, and industry friends.

Prior to her position at Tisch, Sharon worked for several corporations such as Revlon, Elizabeth Arden, and Cosmair in the cosmetics and fragrance industry as well as in advertising and promotion firms.
