Alan is connected to in NYU in multiple capacities, as a former student, a Resident Assistant, an Orientation Leader, and a former Master's Program Assistant in NYU's Psychology Department. Today, he continues this tradition, by playing two different roles at NYU.
By day, Alan works as a Student Services Administrator at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, where he serves as the student liaison. He coordinates the admissions process, advisement and registration, and manages the Institute's high school programs.
By night, Alan is an accomplished Hip Hop Dance Instructor and teaches the "Steps, Rhythm & Movement: Hip Hop Dance" course within Tisch's Open Arts Curriculum. He teaches at various studios in the city and competes in Locking competitions around the country. Most recently, he launched a youtube channel teaching social dancing to the masses.
