Tisch Orientation Leaders (OLs) provide support, guidance, and mentorship to incoming students at Tisch School of the Arts. As an OL, you’ll be assigned a group of incoming students from your department and correspond with them throughout the summer. You’ll also have opportunities to help out during Welcome Week and provide students with your own personalized tour of the NYU campus!
Deadline: Monday, June 12th 2023
- Must be an undergraduate student at Tisch School of the Arts in your Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year in Fall 2023
- Must be in good academic and disciplinary standing.
- Must be available to reply to emails from mid-July to late August and must be on campus during Orientation week.
- Must have an interest in talking to students and being a lively participant during this year's Orientation!
-Emailing your student group from mid-July to late August with important information (approximately 3-4 emails in total).
-Answering questions from your students throughout the summer.
-Meeting your students during Orientation week and providing them with a tour of the NYU campus.
-Helping out at Tisch’s Orientation events including: Tisch Connect, Parents’ Rest Stop, Tisch 101, New Student Underground Party, and more!
This is a volunteer position and we are looking for energetic, passionate Tisch students to join us in welcoming our new class!
-Student groups are assigned in mid-July. You will send 3-4 emails to your group over the summer.
-During Orientation week, you will provide your group with a 90-minute tour of the NYU campus that you design.
-You will also have the opportunity to volunteer for events during Orientation week.
-Your role concludes at the end of Orientation week, but we hope that you will keep in touch with your students throughout the year!
