Mosi Singleton is the author of several short plays and most recently her first full-length play: The Activist’s Wife.  She has also had a successful career in music television working as a writer and head writer for BET and FUSE TV.  Mosi is a 2013 Comedy Central Finalist and she received an independent film award for her 2008 documentary: From Cuba to America: The Journey of A Working Man.  She is a member of The Dramatists Guild and an intern alumna of New Dramatists.  She studied with Suzan Lori Parks, Richard Wesley, Lucy Thurber and Spike Lee.  Mosi holds a BFA in Film from School of Visual Arts and an MFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in Dramatic Writing.  She is currently in talks to have The Activist’s Wife produced.
