Chelsea Harrison made her regional theatre debut playing the title character in Next Act Theater Company’s production of Welcome Home Jenny Sutter. Last year,Chelsea worked at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park as a member of the Bruce E. Coyle Acting Intern Company. She recently graduated with honors and a BFA in Acting from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where she studied acting at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. While at Tisch, Ms. Harrison traveled to South Africa to study collaborative theater-making at Witwatersrand University. Her time in South Africa culminated in a devised theater production of The Red Shoes. In her senior year, Chelsea was selected to study Contemporary Scene Study with Alec Baldwin and was awarded the Beth Turner Award for Scholarship in the African Diaspora by the Tisch Drama Department. She has also been honored by The Creativity Foundation for her commitment to the performing arts community in Washington, DC.
