Judy Del Giudice is a working actress/writer/producer in both New York and Los Angeles. She has studied improv with Alan Arkin, most recently in June 2012, and performed with the improv companies The Village Soaps and Presents of Mind. She has also written and performed sketch and stand-up comedy at various venues like Catch a Rising Star and the Kraine Theater.
In addition to her comedy/improv experience, some of her New York acting credits include Acts of Providence, a play which she co-produced for the stage and which she adapted into the award winning short film North of Providence; Pushed, a cabaret, at the Daryl Roth Theater; and This Round's On Us, with the Nylon Fusion Theater Company, which she is a member of. Her film credits include Righteous Kill with Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro and On the Road With Judas. On television she has worked on Mercy, Royal Pains, The Sopranos, Rescue Me, Law & Order: SVU, Billions, and Boardwalk Empire. She also appeared on Orange is the New Black in an episode directed by Jodie Fister. She has two sitcoms in pre-development, one of which placed in the top six in the Scriptapalooza competition and the other which placed 2nd at the LA Comedy Festival and was given a staged reading at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.
In addition to performing, writing and producing outside of her NYU classes, she works freelance as a script analyst for A&E, Big Beach, and Bleecker Street and has added Jared Leto as a script consultant client. She graduated with a B.A. in Theater Arts from Trinity College and studied at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, as well as with Mel Shapiro and Karlin Glynn. Most recently, she was a student of the late Milton Katselas and the Beverly Hills Playhouse and in New York was a member of the late George DiCenzo’s Master Class.
