Yarden Stern

Ph.D. Candidate

Yarden Stern

Yarden Stern is interested in the politics of gender non-conformity as they intersect with discourses of nationalism. He concentrates on performances of masculinity in Israel/Palestine and transgressive responses by local and diasporic subjects. To think about gender nonconformity's various presences and presentations, he uses post-human philosophy's interest in connections between human and non-human actants. In his spare time Yarden enjoys bending gender, chasing clouds and over-analyzing trash television.
