Tamar Guttmann is an international student from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She was exposed to many different cultures at a young age and developed a love for the performing and visual arts. She played in several professional musicals as a child and attended the Royal Conservatory of Amsterdam as a jazz vocalist besides her high school, the Barlaeus Gymnasium. At 17, she organized a sold-out concert of young musical talent in The Netherlands’ prime jazz club, The Bimhuis. She was asked to become the Youngest Patron of The Museum of Modern Art in Amsterdam, Het Stedelijk.
Tamar wants to combine her passion for the arts with her interest in business by becoming an entrepreneur in the arts. Next to majoring in Performance Studies, Tamar is currently pursuing three minors in Producing, Business in Entertainment, Media & Technology, and History.
Tamar organizes The Fusion Film Festival, works as a production assistant on various New York City based movies and sings in NYU’s Jazz Choir.
