Anna Kuran is a free lance performer and choreographer working mostly within the independent performing arts scene in Reykjavik, Iceland. She is very involved with feminist subjects in her creative work as well as challenging the idea of what dance is and can be. Her two main projects, since graduating, are Dætur, a feminist art collective she shares with other brilliant women, and Kraftverk which focuses mostly on improvisation in performance. These two projects are the love-children of her current artistic work. Next piece of Kraftverk will be a a net- performance piece, scheduled to premiere in November 2016.
