Aaron Parsekian is a Lighting Designer from Brooklyn, NY who develops lighting and electronic creations for the performing arts. His career spans from supervising electrician for Oprah Winfrey, designing lighting fixtures for consumer markets, and developing lighting and automation systems for major Broadway shows. He has also worked as a video and projection programmer for Broadway productions. Aaron has a Master of Professional studies from New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design & Technology as a Lighting Designer from SUNY Purchase College. He is a proud member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees. His passions include working with light, restoring vintage electronics, soldering, and experimenting with sustainable technology using nature and trash.
