I studied Economics in Turkey. During my university years, I made short films and worked as assistant directors for critically acclaimed Turkish directors, Dervis Zaim and Erden Kiral. In 2009, I came to Los Angeles and worked as director for 3 seasons for a Turkish TV show produced by an American company for Turkish National Television. In 2011, I founded HiF Corp. in Los Angeles to organize Los Angeles Turkish Film Festival (LATFF-www.latff.org). I have been presiding LATFF for 4 years. In 2012, I moved to New York to pursue my film Masters degree at New York University, Tisch School of Arts. I am currently working on my thesis feature film, Noah Tree.
