KEEP AND BEAR
Two months following a teenager’s deadly shooting spree at an elementary school, the extreme crusade of a victim’s mother to enact gun control forces the shooter’s mother and a teacher at the school to face their guilt and grief head on as they struggle to cope in the aftermath of the tragedy.
Samantha Dillard completed her MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2016. She also holds an MA in Creative Writing from Aberystwyth University in Wales, an MA in Film and Media Studies from Arizona State University, and a BA in English from New Mexico State University. She writes screenplays, teleplays, and plays, and her work has received commendations from the Academy Nicholl Fellowships and the Austin Film Festival.
