When April, a young women trapped by unrealistic ideals, breaks up with her boyfriend over a failed suicide pact, April goes to rehab to end her addiction to suicidal tendencies and becomes an unlikely member of her therapist's family, which is on the brink of destruction.
Madeleine Connors is a 2015 graduate of Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Dramatic Writing. Growing up in a polish household, her parents never missed a chance to tell her stories from the old country and impart bits of wisdom to her. Her passions for stories lead her to pursue screenwriting at NYU. Madeleine has a versatile experience in production from her time as a art intern at Inside Amy Schumer and her photography internship at Saturday Night Live. She pursued her love of comedy at the Upstanding Citizens Brigade where she studied sketch comedy and is in the process of putting together a weekly variety show with a sketch team. Madeleine hopes to continue to cultivate her whimsical brand of storytelling, drawing from memories and people who inspire her.
