FBI Crime Drama (Based on a True Story)

Special Agent Theo Freeman, is tasked to return to New Orleans, the hometown he abandoned 10 years prior, to lead a team of special agents in arresting his childhood best friend, Roman Brown, the lead suspect of an underage prostitution and smuggling ring, but once Theo arrives and starts piecing all the evidence together, he finds out that a close family member of his is also involved in the trafficking ring with Roman, and is then forced to decide where his loyalty truly lies; with his family or the FBI. 

Carol Garlick is a 2015 graduate of Tisch School of the Arts with an M.F.A in Dramatic Writing. Carol served in the United States Air Force before she began training at New York University where she learned how to craft stories for film, television and stage that critique convention and strive for a deeper truth. She is a 2014-15 Tisch Future Screenwriter Fellow, a Finalist in New York University Fusion Film Festival for her military based one-hour pilot and a script reader for the Jean Doumanian Production Company (August: Osage County, Book of Mormon). Carol also produces and directs her work, including her upcoming short film, “Trying.”
