Logline: In the mid-1990s, seven girls navigate adolescence at sleepaway camp.
Bio: Jaclyn Perlmutter is a 2015 MFA candidate in Dramatic Writing at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. At Tisch, she had her one-act play Photosynthesis featured in the Festival of New Works, and was also twice selected by Tisch faculty as a finalist for the National MFA Playwrights Festival for her ten-minute plays City Snow and The play starts in the gas chambers. Prior to Tisch, Jaclyn led creative writing workshops at Bayview Correctional Facility, a medium-security women’s prison. This summer, Jaclyn will be an Associate Artist at the Atlantic Center for the Arts, and was previously a writing resident at the Vermont Studio Center. Jaclyn holds a BA in Religious Studies from Pomona College.
