Dance and 3D Image Scanning
NYU Tisch School of the Arts ITP alumni Yuli Cai and Aaron Montoya Moraga collaborate with Graduate Dance alumn Donald C. Shorter Jr. to create a piece where dance and techonology coexist. Dance, live music, video projection, live streaming technology, and 3D image scanning are combined to blur the lines between the physical and virtual worlds. This piece was funded by a grant from the Institue of Performing Arts.

Graduate Dance and ITP students combine dance and interactive technology. ITP students Yuli Cai and Aaron Montoya-Moraga create a digital world in which Gradate Dance student Donald C. Shorter Jr. responds to and interacts with. All of the visual imagery is being manipulated in real time without the use of prerecorded media.
