Before joining Tisch Film and Television as Internship Coordinator in 2007, Adam Underhill spent several years working in television and radio as a talent booker and producer. He began as an intern himself, in the talent department at Late Show With David Letterman on CBS in 1998. From 2000-2003, he worked as a talent booker at the boutique firm Central Talent Booking, placing celebrity guests on talk shows for VH1, BBC, IFC, various syndicated programs, live events, and in magazines. At NBC's Last Call With Carson Daly from 2003-2005, Adam booked celebrity and human interest interviews and cast extras for comedy sketches (appearing in a few himself). After two years booking and producing radio interviews for Envision Radio Network and Launch Radio Network, Adam spent a season producing contestant segments and writing "blue cards" for host Meredith Vieira on the syndicated game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Since joining NYU Tisch, Adam has coordinated internships for students of the Kanbar Institute of Film & Television, the Goldberg Department of Dramatic Writing, the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, the NYU Game Center, and Tisch Special Programs. He has a BA in Advertising and a minor in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.
