Marc Cincone was named Director of Development at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in October 2015. With a background in music performance and education, Marc has passionately supported the arts and higher education for more than thirteen years. In concert with the Dean and faculty of Tisch, he is responsible for raising philanthropic support for the school's varied academic priorities.
Since 2004, Marc has worked in a number of NYU colleges including the College of Arts and Science, the Institute of Fine Arts, and the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. His experience supporting NYU students and alumni at a number of the University's most notable arts programs make him an asset to the Tisch team. More recently, he led the fundraising activities of one of the region’s largest University based performing arts centers.
Marc studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA with a dual concentration in performance and music business. He is also a proud NYU alum, having obtained his graduate degree in nonprofit management from the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service.
