Wendell Howlett

Dell is an actor/dancer/yogi with an extensive background in contemporary ballet, and theater. After receiving a B.F.A in musical theater from The University of the Arts, Dell went on to dance with the famed Koresh Dance Company. His exploration of the dance world took him from Philadelphia to many European countries and finally landed him on Broadway where he stayed for 8 years in various productions. After meeting director, Kent Gash and choreographer, Byron Easly while working at the Alliance Theater in Atlanta, Dell cemented an artistic relationship which has endured for several years and lead him to NYU. As an Adjunct Professor of Movement and Dance in the New Studio on Broadway, he is excited to bring his insights to these special students. ! Mr. Howlett is currently choreographing regionally across the country and is Artistic Director of Young Performers of America.
