Tovah Close currently teaches at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, New Studio on Broadway. She has taught speech and voice at American Conservatory Theater and the Governor's School of North Carolina, as well as coaching actors privately and serving as dialect and text coach for Epic Theatre Ensemble, Parenthesis Theater Company and Occam Rep in New York City, and the Summer Theater of New Canaan in Connecticut. As an actor she has appeared at ACT, Metropolitan Playhouse, Workshop Theater, BoCoCa Arts Festival, The Abingdon, The Process Group and The Vortex. She is a member of AEA and VASTA, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the ACT MFA Program Alumni Association.
