Alan is connected to in NYU in multiple capacities, as a former student, a Resident Assistant, an Orientation Leader, and a former Master's Program Assistant in NYU's Psychology Department. Today, he continues this tradition, by playing two different roles at NYU.
By day, Alan works as the Administrative Coordinator at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, where he serves as the student liaison. He coordinates the admissions process, registration, and organizes the Institute's high school programs.
By night, Alan is an accomplished Hip Hop Dance Instructor and teaches the "Steps, Rhythm & Movement: Hip Hop Dance" course within Tisch's Open Arts Curriculum. He competes in Locking competitions around the country and recently launched a youtube channel teaching social dancing to the masses.
