She’s shared the stage with the late Biggie Smalls, Stevie Wonder, Outkast, The Pharcyde, Cody Chestnutt, MIA, Mos Def, Slum Village, Madonna, Raphael Saadiq, De La Soul, No Doubt, Common, A Tribe Called Quest, Bruno Mars and Aaliyah. She co-wrote Tupac's "Mamas Just a Little Girl," on the multi platinum album, Better Dayz, currently featured in a PowerAde campaign with Derrick Rose. She recorded with Jane's Addiction on “Superhero” on the theme song for the HBO hit, Entourage and has written national campaigns for Target and Old Navy. She received rave reviews as Harper in the feature film, “In The Morning” dir. by Nefertite Nguvu with legendary cinematographers Arthur Jafa, Bradford Young and Hans Charles. She is most notably the original singer and collaborator of The Black Eyed Peas on their critically acclaimed first two albums. She broke record sales with her indie release Sugahill, which took her music global and crystalized her sound in a movement she helped define.
